On an extremely windy day, Carly Campos put the Wildcats on the board first with a straight set victory at 2 singles. Hanover was down 2-1 after the 1 and 3 singles matches went KV's way, but the doubles teams came through. Every member of the Hanover doubles teams plays another sport (1 hockey, 1 soccer & 2 basketball). That athleticism came into play as both teams did a nice job at the net and finding angles. Sarah Pena & Jenna Nisevich won in decisive fashion at 1 doubles 6-3, 6-1. The night ended with a nail biter as the 2 doubles team Natalie Eckart & Jill Ball won the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-4) and 7-5 in the second set as everyone watched on. Next up for the Wildcats is a home match vs rival Illiana Christian on Tuesday 4/15.
