And like that the 24/25 Hanover Boys Freshman/Futures Basketball season is over going 2-0 against River Forest and Chesterton – 25-14 and 28-11 respectively. This group of young men came a long way since the beginning of November and Coach Josh, me and the rest of the JV/V Coaches are extremely proud of them for their efforts and achievements. From jump, they were respectful and really bought into the team/family culture promoted. The picked each other up when needed, challenged each other respectfully and didn't leave anything on the court. This group finished 10-6 overall for the highest winning percentage at this level in the last four seasons. Congrats and enjoy it. Get ready to continue working, grinding and getting effort in during the spring, summer and fall – “remember the best athlete is made during the offseason” and “it never gets easier, you just get better”.
