Varsity vs Kankakee Valley High School (3 - 2) Win The Wildcats traveled to KV last night and took home the W. At 1 singles, Mitch Remaly won 6-0, 6-0 in dominant fashion, earning himself donut rights. At 2 singles, Ben Hall battled some ailments and won 6-3, 6-2. At 3 singles, Ari Bairaktaris came up with a clutch 7-6, 6-2 win. Both doubles teams fought hard but fell short. At 1 doubles, seniors Jacob Drewno and Patrick Juchniewicz lost 3-6, 3-6. At 2 doubles sophomores Henry Stessl and Jack Ball lost 2-6, 2-6. At JV 1 singles Mason Burdan lost 1-6. At 2 singles Ben Straley lost his first match 0-6 and won his second match 6-2. Burdan and Straley then played a doubles match and won 6-2. Zak Gardner and Caiden Shofroth lost their first doubles match 4-6. They won their second match 7-6. The Wildcats have won 3 in a row and will look to make it 4 in a row tonight at Hobart.
