The cross-country teams traveled to Clark on Monday for their second LMSAC round-robing meet of the year. The teams came away with a split in two very closely contested races. The girls won their race 28-29, while the boys lost 29-27. Kimmy Fruth paced the girls by winning the race. Kennedy Turner, and Avery Blocker finished 3rd and 4th, with Kennede Eckart, Gianna Gettemans and Lilia Perez finishing 9th, 10th, and 11th. Gianna ran a personal best time. The girls are now 2-1 on the season, and 1-1 in the LMSAC. In the boys race, the team placed 9 runners before Clark's 6th, but it wasn't enough for the win. Joseph Lashway and Anthony Miller placed 3rd and 4th. Deo Williams, Brett Burdan, Reed LaPorte and Chino Williams placed 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th. The boys record is now 1-2, and 0-2 in the LMSAC The teams will host LMSAC foe, Grimmer, on the 16th at 5:00.
