Facing Duneland powerhouses and NCC heavyweights, the boys cross country team finished 5th at the Rudy Skorupa Invite. Despite adjusting to a course change, the Wildcats adapted and packed up a strong top 6. Noah Hernandez led the way, finishing in 15th place with a 17:18 time. Bennett Duffy and Grant Zuzich finished bang-bang in 21st and 22nd place in 17:38 and 17:41. Caleb Cornett, Chris Epting, and Nathan Sandberg were separated by only 8 seconds. Nick Esquivel, Aaron Wilson, Myles Norlock, and Luka Savich wrapped up the Wildcats finishers in the varsity race. In the reserve race, Tony Kostecka led the charge with a 45th place finish out of 160 runners. He was followed by Xavior Turner who continued to build throughout the race and track people down. Karter Lashway and Dawson Boyer were in a head to head sprint to the finish, while Aydin Cummings finished closely behind.
