To start the season, the Lady Wildcats proved that they will be a team to watch throughout the season and took home 3rd place as a team. Kennedy Morgan and Althea Zinmer placed 8th and 10th place. They were quickly followed by two new faces to the high school scene: Sam Kawa and Anna Sucic, who both broke 22 minutes in their first race and placed 17th and 24th. Elisa Cornejo rounded out the top 5 in 33rd place. Baylie Smith ran a course best and finished in 61st, and Ari Cipra crossed the line in 65th. In the reserve race, Ava Duffy and Melissa Garcia went back and forth throughout the race and finished in 13th and 14th. Carlie Cox finished her last first race in 32nd.
