The boys cross country team opened up the 2026 season with a 2nd place team finish at the Dave Walker Invitational. Noah Hernandez and Grant Zuzich earned top 10 honors in the race, finishing 4th and 10th respectively, and Noah began his senior season with a career PR of 17:14. Bennett Duffy (12th), Caleb Cornett (14th), Chris Epting (20th), and Nathan Sandberg each placed in the top 25. Aaron Wilson wrapped up the varsity race in 47th place. In the reserve race, Nick Esquivel (13th) and Myles Norlock (19th) opened up their cross country careers with 19:59 and 20:16 finishes, while Luka Savich and Tony Kostecka finished in 20:45 and 21:05. Xavior Turner and Aydin Cummings began their high school careers with 38th and 39th place finishes, while sophomore Dawson Boyer charted a career PR with a 21:51. Karter Lashway, Josh Paredes, and David Sandoval each showed tremendous growth throughout the race and had phenomenal finishes.
