The cross-country teams traveled to Hebron for the Dave Walker Invitational on Saturday. The girls placed 5th and the boys placed 7th. Kimmy Fruth paced the girls with a personal best time and a 4th place medal finish. Kennedy Turner had a personal best race, for 18th. Kennede Eckart also earned a ribbon with a 26th place finish. Lilia Perez ran a personal best time. Joseph Lashway finished first for the team, in 31st place. Chino Williams and ran a personal best time. Jackson Kawa ran a personal best time in the JV race. Harper Highland, William Wages, Derek Orsini, and Mia Alexander all ran strong races in the JV races for their first 3k races of the season. The teams will host Crown Point Christian on Monday, and travel to KV on Wednesday.
