HC Varsity vs ILLIANA CHRISTIAN - (Win: 6 - 3) Hanover Central defeated Illiana 6-3 on Wednesday. HC tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a single by Nora Edgerton, and a walk by KD Poppe. A single by Dallas Bowen gave Hanover the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the second. A single by Adeline McMahon extended the Wildcats lead to 4-2 in the bottom of the third inning. Claire Edgerton earned the win for Hanover Central. The starter surrendered six hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking one. HC plays again Friday at Crown Point.
