HC Varsity vs Lowell High School - Win (7-0): Jillian DeYoung shut down the Lowell Red Devils, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Hanover Central to a 7-0 victory on Wednesday. Hanover got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Dallas Bowen tripled down the right field line, and Brooklyn Oostman hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. HC added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning. Kaylee Blocker singled to center field, and KD Poppe singled down the right field line, each scoring one run. The Wildcats scored one run in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run to center field by Sienna Stilley. Stilley, Poppe, Blocker, Nora Edgerton, and Bowen each collected two hits for Hanover Central. Stilley, Poppe, Oostman, Blocker, and Bowen each drove in one run for Hanover. Hanover Central plays at home on Thursday against Griffith in their next game.
