For the second year in a row, HC had some boys sprinters qualify for the Lafayette Jeff Sprint Showcase Meet. Spencer Jackson qualified in the 110m hurdles and ran a personal best time of 15.72. Gavin DeYoung qualified in the 400 and ran a personal best time of 51.95. Braden Powell qualified for and ran in the 200m dash. Jacob Ferko qualified for and ran in the 100m dash. The 400 relay team of Evan Marsiglio, Kendall Ingram, Jacob Ferko, and Gavin DeYoung ran the second fastest time of the year with a 44.02. David Murphy qualified in the 100, 200, and 400, and received three medals and earned another school record. David ran 22.23 in the 200 for 6th place, 11.27 in the 100 for 5th place, and broke a 25-year old school record in the 400. He ran a 50.11, which eclipsed the 50.25 in 2001 that was run by Chris Mantel.
