Track & Field (Boys Varsity) Scores

The boys track team began its outdoor track season at Munster for the Ed Woodrick Invitational. The team finished 3rd among the twelve schools present. In the field events, Logan Zellon placed 7th in the shot put and had a personal best throw in the discus. AJ Noel and Mason Streit placed 2nd and 3rd in the pole vault. AJ vaulted a personal best height. Evan Marsiglio placed 4th in long jump with a nearly foot and a half personal best performance. In the distance events, The team of Ryan Sandberg, Bennett Duffy, Chris Epting and Noah Hernandez won the 4x800 relay. Ryan Sandberg placed 3rd in the 1600, and 2nd in the 3200. Chris Epting placed 5th and Noah Hernandez 8th in the 800. Bennet Duffy placed 4th in the 3200. In the sprint events, David Murphy won the 400 with a personal best time. Zumji Gofwen placed 3rd in the 100. Spencer Jackson placed 4th in the 110 and 7th in the 300 meter hurdle events, running personal bests in both. The 4x100 relay finished 3rd with a team of Jacob Ferko, Gavin DeYoung, David Murphy and Zumji Gofwen. The 4x400 team of Jacob Ferko, Kyle Otworowski, Gavin DeYoung and David Murphy also finished 3rd. Kyle Otworowski had a personal best split time. Jackson Barshack ran a personal best time in the 300 hurdles. Kendall Ingram had a personal best in the 100 meter dash. The team will begin it's conference season on Tuesday, at home, against Highland and Munster.
