Hanover Central Varsity vs Highland High School - Win (12-1): Sienna Stilley hit two home runs and drove in six as Hanover Central defeated Highland 12-1 on Wednesday. Jillian DeYoung struck out 13 batters on the day to earn the win. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over five innings while walking one. Hanover opened the scoring in the first after Dallas Bowen hit a solo home run to center field. In the top of the fourth inning, Stilley homered to left field, scoring three runs, and DeYoung hit a solo home run to center field. Stilley hit a grand slam to center field in the top of the fifth for HC. Stilley, DeYoung, and Nora Edgerton each collected two hits for the Wildcats. Hanover Central Varsity Wildcats play at home on Friday against Manteno in their next game.
